another challenge
our challenge for this week in the Southern Belles team is a tag card, here is my submission

I’ve used some of the Sweet Always paper which is pretty out there! colour wise, backed onto Pumpkin Pie card, Chocolate ribbon, and button to tone it down a bit, and the saying from the Best Yet hostess set. Very quick the designer papers come in handy when you are low on time and need a card in a hurry, and being doubled sided they go so well together so you don’t even have to worry about co-ordination. I’ve also stamped one of the pocket silhoutte stamps (page 72 ) inside - I always try to have a nice insert, seems a waste to spend time on a nice card and then scrimp on the insert! Don’t forget to contact me if you have any queries.

I hope you like this card, I’ve become quite taken with Bordering Blue cardstock it is quite a good colour for soft backgrounds, I’ve stamped one of the stamps from friends 24-7 onto the card using bordering blue ink, and on confetti white I’ve stamped the flower from the set, a bit of sponging to finish it off. A couple of things before I run off, don’t forget to put in your entry for the blog candy, see the post below for spotting the differences, and let me know if you would like to attend any of the classes – see the class pages.

owl

welcome once again, no I didn’t forget but I must admit I almost didn’t come onto the computer today, my life is very hectic at the moment, and I hope you will all forgive me if I do take a break very soon, I’ve been blogging non stop since the 1st June, and I do enjoy it but our guest blogger Helen has gone back to work and can’t supply card’s anymore. The card above is the last one and hasn’t she done a wonderful job all week! Thanks so much and I’ll be sending a little gift your way.

a xmas bird
the spring set little birdie looks great used for a christmas card
Helen, has layered it onto a bit of dashing paper (retired) and I’m not too sure about the other paper, then she has cut out some holly and a very quick xmas card, It’s not too early to start on your cards for christmas yet, avoid the rush at the end of the year! I’ll be making xmas cards all afternoon, so I have to get on and pack my gear. Happy crafting today.

Eastern Influcences

another wow card from Helen, love what is happening on this one. The birds are 3′d, and there is some non su flowers on here (and little pearls) but they all complement each other so well., it’s been hectic again today but surprise I do have a card finished to show you in the next day or two. A big thankyou to Helen for supplying all the cards this week and helping me out I really appreciate it. I thinks it’s also nice to see a very different style to mine so I hope you have all enjoyed it too.

love this one

this is just gorgegous, one of my favourite colour combo’s, and the little bird from the spring song set has been coloured in to represent a blue wren, they are much brighter blue irl, but Helen has done a great job with this card, the circles are nice and the cuttlebug background also goes well, hope I get this one for my birthday (hint hint). Don’t forget to enter the blog candy comp below, some people have pointed out they can spot 8 differences! I haven’t yet seen the answer so I’ve been examing them too! still haven’t got back into that craft room yet, I’ve been living in my car doing the taxi thing and spending the rest of it at the doctors – I’m planning on going to another demo’s place on saturday so Sunday may bring some new things from me!thanks for continuing to come by.

No Stamps
on this card, Helen has used the big owl from the so tweet chipboard and painted it, love those colours they match the paper background perfectly

thanks for looking in, Helen has done a challenge for you, so tomorrow there will be two cards where you have to spot the difference, I think I might attach some blog candy to the challenge as well, so make sure to stop by.

Isn’t it lovely and just right for Fathers Day, the birds is stamped in Close to Coca and really doesn’t need any colouring, this is another one of Helen’s and she has just sent me some more, so you will be seeing them over the next few days, Thanks very much to Helen for keeping you all entertained with new cards, I’m unable to craft at the moment – my attention is needed as a mum just now, some days you just have to get your priorities right, but hopefully I’ll be back soon.
