field flowers layout

Hello, welcome to another week of one set cards, but today we are starting off with a layout, I have chosen Field Flowers for our set this week, very versatile, but as you will see I have found it difficult to get away from a certain colour scheme with this set, it just shouts out earth tones to me, I did try though- you will see those cards later in the week.

i used the crayon resist technique  to sponge the background, love that satin black ribbon, this layout is going into a frame rather than  a book, but cos it is male oriented I couldn’t really add anymore flowers. But totally love this effect. Hope Manny likes it. see you tomorrow.

scrappin saturday baby album cover page

Hi everyone, how was your week, ok we are starting off on our scrappin saturday guess who- remember way back in november I challenged you all to guess whether Judith or I made a layout, now for the next seven saturdays you have to guess which of us made that layout and then email (or facebook) the answer to me, the person who has the most correct guesses at the end of the seven weeks will get a little surprise gift from me. So on to it we go

mainly used the items from the party animal scrap kit, aren’t they great looking, the deer was adhered onto cardstock and fussy cut then 3d, the frame was from a retired stock of chipboard and of course the pennants punched out with the pennant builder punch. The whole album used the same four basic colours throughout, with the exception of next weeks layout. Happy guessing.

sale.a.bration card 3

last sneak peak

more loopy ribbon love the way it falls so delicately. Hoping that next week that I will have more, however I have engagement invites to get done so no promises, scrappin saturday however . Just a note on classes, these will be starting in march, sorry I had to delay due to renovations and reorganising the craft room, but the good news on that is we will have a lot more room to create in once we get back to it. Happy crafting everyone.

sale.a.bration card and simply adorned necklace

Using the same paper as the other day, (actually i have made all three cards in the sneak peak with the same page, the cards just came straight into my head with this design – did I say how much I love it!)

a different style of card, love the long loopy ribbon, can’t wait to get more for some scrap pages. The necklace next to the card is from the current summer mini which I made for a friend’s birthday, here is a closer look

I stamped the flower from funky four, a retired rubon friend, the butterfly from charming and then coloured some silver glitter paper for the centre, on the other side (these charms are double sided would be great for photos)

I stamped the background from clearly for you and then made an initial out of rhinestones. Lots of potential with these charms, you could make up heaps of backgrounds and then swap them around for a different look. Thanks for dropping in and happy crafting.

sale.a.bration

hi everyone this week I will be showing some sneak peaks for our sale.a.bration which commences on the 24th January, the stamp sets (4 of them) have been joined this year with a set of designer paper, and also a bundle of brads and ribbon, all absolutely gorgeous, so you have a much better choice and you can choose one of these with every $100 you spend. Contact me for more details, now to the sneak peak, I couldn’t resist the paper,

the sentiment is also a sneak peak of one of the stamp sets available. Just love that thin organza ribbon too, and the lovely in colours used. Made this card so quick. Thanks for dropping by and hope to see you during sale.a.bration.

scrappin saturday first christmas

welcome everyone how was your week, this is the layout we made for Tobias scrapbook, his first christmas

I used the letters to santa paper this layout has a curtain effect, and as the book is only 8×8 we didn’t have a lot of space to work with. Hope you have enjoyed this layout, and happy crafting.

Hi everyone, isn’t this cool change a lot better, I had a really fun day yesterday crafting with some friends, we had a laugh and just so relaxing, was exactly what I needed, to get together and do some girly stuff. I’ve been busy creating and catching up or trying to on all these birthdays but today I have an engagement card to show you

just a little looky not the whole card, but it has congrats in silver embossing at the top and the initials of the happy couple at the bottom, have also bee busy making wedding cards and engament invites as well as birthday cards, so once that is all completed we will get back to the weekly stamp set highlights. keep cool and happy crafting.
